22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B

Reading One - Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 6-8; Reading TwoJames 1:17-18, 21B-22, 27; Gospel - Mark 7:1-8, 14-15, 21-23
“From within people, from their hearts, comes evil thoughts….All these evils come from within and they defile.”
How does evil enter your heart?
How do one’s thoughts change from goodness and kindness to “greed, malice, deceit”?
Is there a connection here to original sin?
How do you create a clean heart?
